Help us make WordCamp Dublin 2019 unforgettable!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Call for Volunteers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

WordPress is one of the most inclusive pieces of software and communities around today, and WordCamps – conferences about WordPress itself – are too. To make each WordCamp as inclusive as possible, we really need your help \ud83d\ude42.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being a volunteer is a rewarding and fulfilling experience. It gives you the opportunity to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • greet and help out attendees, speakers and sponsors<\/li>
  • get an inside look at the running of conferences like WordCamp Dublin<\/li>
  • be an essential part of the team during the event<\/li>
  • have the opportunity to meet interesting WordPress people<\/li>
  • receive an exclusive, volunteer-only t-shirt<\/li>
  • receive kudos for your time, attention and efforts<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    We need YOUR help<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    We expect to welcome approximately 300 passionate WordPressers to WordCamp Dublin 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Being a volunteer is more than just giving a hand. It\u2019s a unique way of showing your support for the growing WordPress community and getting involved with the WordPress project itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you\u2019re willing to help, here areas in which we\u2019re recruiting for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Meet & greet \/ information desk: checking in attendees, distributing swag, and answering general questions<\/li>
    • Stage MC: making announcements, introducing, coordinating and timekeeping for speakers, and keeping the attendees energised between the talks<\/li>
    • Tech support: managing audio and video equipment, laptops, projectors, mics<\/li>
    • Photographer: taking photos and videos, which then can be shared on the official social media accounts during the conference.<\/li>
    • Food: caring for attendees by helping with distributing food, drinks and snacks<\/li>
    • WordPress Help \/ Support desk: answering technical WordPress questions, advising attendees and trying to help solve issues with their sites.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
