Here at WordCamp Dublin HQ we’re pretty excited: in fact we’ve just published the full conference schedule!
We said from the very beginning that we wanted bloggers, designers, developers, authors, marketers, SEOs, businesses, non-profits, photographers, consultants, entrepreneurs – as well as everyone who loves and uses WordPress – to attend and participate in the event.
So, we came up with a series of blog posts to help you choose the best sessions. Also, don’t forget each session will be recorded, so you will have the chance to watch the ones you were unable to attend.
Let’s start the series with website traffic, SEO, conversion… the holy grail!
We heard you want to grow website visitors, online sales, profits. And we know you need a little refresher.
1. Use content to grow a business
You can’t miss Intercom’s content marketing case study from their own Geoffrey Keating… and how they grew from 1 to 17,000 customers thanks to it.
This is on Saturday 14 October at 12:30 pm. Room will be packed.
2. Listen to Google
Then, you really need to hear what Google has to say. Wait, what? Google is speaking at WordCamp Dublin?
That’s right!
The great Juan Felipe Rincón will teach you how to optimise your site. You will learn how search works, be given tips on how to do well on search and explore tools that Google offers which you can use to manage your online presence on Google Search.
This session kicks off on Saturday 14 October at 4:30 pm.
3. Increase readership
On Sunday, the amazing Amanda Webb will teach some real tactics you can use to get people to visit your blog and read your posts. This isn’t your usual talk about quick fixes and cheats. We’ll look at real tactics for building a stronger readership with users who will not only read but share and tell others about your blog.
You can’t really ask for anything better! Amanda goes live at 9:15 am on Sunday 15 October.
4. Fix your website
You can grow your website traffic as much as you like… but if your website doesn’t convert, you’ve just wasted all your time and budget.
Ian Clevett will show you the basic 7 reasons why sites don’t convert. This quick talk, straight to the point, is scheduled for Sunday 15 October at 12:30 pm.
