The WordCamp Dublin schedule is up – so we came up with a series of blog posts to help you choose the best sessions according to your current needs 🙂
This time, it’s all about entrepreneurship. Maybe you want to grow your website traffic. Or maybe to stay up to date with the upcoming GDPR changes. Or why not – you might be interested in becoming a nomad (digital of course) or even put yourself forward to speak at the unconference 🙂
Bloggers, designers, developers, authors, marketers, SEOs, businesses, non-profits, photographers, consultants, entrepreneurs – as well as everyone who loves and uses WordPress – will attend and participate in the event.
So, here are the talks you shouldn’t miss if you are a serial entrepreneur! At the bottom of the post you will find a link to the full schedule.
1. Become a digital nomad
Steve Deane has made it. He will show you how you too can live the dream, work 4 hours per week and become a digital nomad. Wow, who’d want to miss that!
Meet Steve and hear his story on Saturday at 9:15 am in Room 2.
2. Learn and implement SEO
If you’re interested in growing your website traffic, we already covered this in a previous post. All you need to do is understanding the simple laws of content marketing, and then you’ll do just right 🙂
3. Grow your business
You can’t miss these 5 case studies we’ve put together. Increase your brand awareness, grow your client base and kick-ass!
4. Build your own WordPress website
It’s not that difficult, really. And Manoj will show you how – in just 30 minutes.
Sounds like a plan? Great, meet Manoj on Saturday at 10:15 am in Room 1.
5. Stay up to date with GDPR changes
Handling of personal data is going to go through a major change next year – the new GDPR law. This is so important and so current that we have two sessions about it!
Claude will describe 4 steps to tackle the forthcoming changes in data privacy law, and later on Heather will go into further details – designing for data protection.
You can attend Claude presentation on Saturday at 3:15 pm and Heather’s at 11:30 am on Sunday. Yes, we want you to have a good sleep in between so that you can assimilate all those new rules 🙂
6. Speak like nobody’s business
You’re an entrepreneur? Cool – we want to hear your story. You can still speak at the event 🙂
We’ve left some time in the conference for unconference sessions. If you have an idea for a conversation you’d like to facilitate, we’ll also have a board for ideas at the opening session of the conference.
Full Schedule
See the full schedule here. You will find all the 25 sessions divided into two tracks.
Till next time…
